Loop business and financial district on Michigan Avenue, the Chicago Athletic Association is across from Millennium Park and one block from the Art Institute of Chicago and Jewelers Row. The Chicago Cultural Center and Symphony Orchestra are two blocks from the hotel. Within five blocks is the Richard J. Daley Center.

Originally owned by William Wrigley Jr. of the famed Wrigley Building and Chicago Cubs team, the hotel boasts statues and marble columns aligning the lobby path of mosaic tile designs leading to a baroque-style restaurant, Main Dining Room. The Room overlooks Millennium Park, Lake Michigan and Labor Day fireworks at Navy Pier.
